The Great Indian Election Campaign

Hey people

Right now election are going on in this part of India, that is in karnataka and the election is scheduled to take place in three parts and so the canvasing or campaigning is going on in full swing and all the last minute preparation is taking place but the respective parties but one thing is feel is that i see common among these parties and the two candidates fighting out in our country is that they have the same motives and same kind of objectives that these indian regional parties have taken.

Barack Obama in usa is saying that if elected i will bring in changes that we believe in,
where he says that he will stop unnecessary expenses on weapons and take steps that helps the country regain the lost jobs and other stuffs......he sure has a long list and he say that he will fulfill them. I sure too believe that he may do that.

here back in India also parties have made similar promises saying
If elected they will
Give colour television to every house
Give rice at a subsides rates to every poor man
He will improve the traffic situation in blore [its world famous]

Well these are some promise that many parties have in common and that too what i have heard is that these ideas have been taken from their counterparts in tamil nadu and andhra pradesh the chief competitors of blore or bengalure, that what it called now but i really don't see a big difference in Bangalore or bengalure except that now its the spelling is wrong totally.
Anyways leaving that what i feel is that its nice that they are giving colour television to every poor but i dont understand from where will theses poor afford to pay the electricity bills for using tv and coming to electricity where is adequate power in blore itself...... its irregular and non realiable.

The second promise made by them is that they will give rice to poor at cheap rate [that why our poor bush is blaming india for food crisis]
When the poor Indian get rice at such cheap rate then what will the poor american eat??
but i dont understand how will they eat rice....they havent subsidies kerosene or lpg gas at all.

These are some lofty promises that people are expected to get if they elect the particular party[or this is the incentive that they will get for voting coz every party has almost the same promises]

The first phase of voting starts on 10 of may in the southern part of karnataka and then in phase 2 the other parts.

Lets hope these parties stick to the promises they are making now........

An American View Of Indian Silicon City

i am being thinking of writing about how Americans think their so called back office works.
Hows the culture there?
Hows the work atmosphere?
How are the people different from the American counterpart?
and many more questions that can come in our mind......
This will be a series of post where in the Indian way is looked upon by an american staying in india and basically in Bangalore.

I hope you may find it interesting and quite amusing.
